Carbon Dioxide Removal/Negative Emissions Technology Workshop

On February 8, 2017, the Forum for Climate Engineering Assessment of American University’s School of International Service held a workshop on the potential role of carbon dioxide removal/negative emissions technologies in Berkeley, California. The event was co-sponsored by the Center for Science, Technology, Medicine & Society at the University of California-Berkeley and Lightworks at Arizona State University.

Approximately 120 individuals attended the meeting, including members of the general public, as well as the governmental, non-governmental, and academic sectors.
